Collective salvation
This blog post from Rev. Margaret Aymer, Ph. D. got my blood running hot:

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
I have never seen in the Bible, even in the book of James, where we as Christians are to give any government OUR responsibility for helping the poor and widows and orphans. There is no such thing as collective salvation. We will stand ALONE at the throne of The Almighty, giving account for only our own life.
Everything within me declares: Please do not believe this lie that is told that somehow, if we let some benevolent government TAKE "contributions" from us under penalty of fines and imprisonment, and, in our collective name, give it to the people THEY see fit to benefit, that we collectively will benefit from God's grace.
It is a lie from the father of lies, in my opinion!
